MeritDirect is seeking a Salesforce Administrator to play an integral role on a growing Sales and Marketing team.  Reporting to the Vice President of Marketing, the incumbent will own all aspects of our new Salesforce platform, acting as the subject matter expert (SME).  This is both a technical and operational Salesforce role that will focus on the administration of the Sales Cloud platform, ensuring that it is built and maintained to strategically and technically achieve our digital and demand gen marketing goals.    

The Salesforce implementation is scheduled to go-live within 90 days.  As we scale up the business, the incumbent will be involved in the strategy, roadmap and integration of the sales clouds. S/he will also perform analytics to better help us understand how we are doing and advise on how we can improve.

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to, the following:

  • Salesforce Administrator
    • Provide day-to-day end-user support and assist our 40 person user group with best practices to improve, gain success from and increase their knowledge of Salesforce.com
    • Oversee Salesforce.com release management processes and impact on users
    • Maintain user roles and profiles, security settings, access settings, etc.
    • Create and manage custom objects, fields, and formulas
    • Responsible for data integrity, data management and manipulation tasks such as merging duplicate records in alignment with existing operating model
    • Manage data dictionaries and administrative procedure documents
    • Manage weekly Salesforce data exports in alignment with data retention and account update requirements
    • Manage Salesforce integrations with various platforms
    • Create new fields, dashboards, pipeline and revenue reports, workflows and objects
    • Manage all hands-on configuration and builds
    • Create process docs and trainings to help staff understand Salesforce application
    • Ensure that the system integrates, synchs and functions intelligently with Marketing Automation Platform

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree required
  • 3+ years of Salesforce Administration and ownership of the platform, working closely with the business users and leadership for reporting
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office, particularly advanced Excel skills (vlookups and pivot tables)
  • Prior Salesforce Lightning experience required
  • Experience with Data Loader and Dedupe tools
  • Experience with Demand Gen Campaigns and SQL/MQL activity
  • Experience working in a B2B environment is a plus
  • Strong technical skills required
  • Inquisitive personality
  • Ability to self-teach, when needed
